概要
day は、「日」を表す最も一般的な語だが、大きく分けて「1日」という時間的な区切りで使う場合と、「日中」とか「昼間」という概念的な意味合いで使う場合がある。
前者の意味合いで使う場合は可算名詞であるが、後者の場合は不可算名詞となる。
